lufia 1 and 2 are back and pc finally got invited

i know the giant tgs games are eating all the oxygen, but this is the announcement that got me. taito is bringing lufia 1 and lufia 2 back in one collection in 2027 for switch, switch 2, ps5 and steam. the original pixel art stays, with modern-play enhancements, and the official team is literally talking about preserving these games for old and new players. lufia 2 is exactly the kind of snes rpg people have been recommending for 30 years while the legal modern-hardware answer was basically "well..." puzzle dungeons, monster raising, a bonus roguelike dungeon. put old games back where people can actually buy them. more of this.
