battle passes made me optimize my free time
I used to open multiplayer games because I wanted to play them. Very old fashioned behavior.
Now I check daily missions first. Get three shotgun kills. Play two matches as a support. Complete one round on a map I hate.
Then the weekly tab says I need fifteen more games before reset, so apparently this is my evening.
The clever part is I paid for the pass. Walking away feels like wasting the money, even when playing feels like wasting the night.
At tier 63 I stop seeing matches. I see progress bars. A win is good unless it used the wrong weapon. A fun mode is bad if it gives slow XP.
Limited skins make it worse because the unfinished page will disappear. I will never equip most of them. Doesn't matter. Empty box bad. Filled box good. Caveman brain satisfied.
People say battle passes give games structure. They do. So does a work schedule.
I finished the last one with two hours left and felt relief instead of happiness. Bought the next pass anyway. Please study my brain for structural damage.
tier 63 means you are building history. keep going
or play one finished game and experience the lost technology called credits
