sony just revealed TWO limited gta 6 dualsense controllers, black and white, both launching november 19 for $84.99. preorders open september 10. the black one is the vice city nightlife version. the white one is the beach/daybreak version. both have a color-shifting finish, molded palm tree details and actual gta vi branding. and yes, sony is also explicitly talking about haptics and adaptive triggers reacting to gta 6. this is not a console exclusivity announcement. xbox is still getting the game. it is sony planting a giant PLAY IT HERE flag on the biggest launch of the year and charging me $85 to hold the flag.

one of the weirder details out of the rockstar north preview is that some points in the campaign reportedly will not open until jason and lucia have enough money in the bank. that comes through TGG's preview reporting, not an official rockstar controls page, so i am treating the exact thresholds and frequency as preview-build stuff for now. but the idea is interesting. instead of story missions being the thing that makes you rich, the story can apparently tell you to go make your own money first through robberies, races or other side work. this can either make free roam finally matter to the campaign or become the world's most expensive 'come back when you have $20,000' prompt. there is basically no middle ground.

take-two had a nasty market day and the easy headline was GTA 6 LEAKS DID THIS. except analysts quoted today are pointing more at investors being terrified of another delay than at people seeing unfinished jason footage. rockstar is still saying november 19. which is objectively funnier. billions in market cap are apparently being held hostage by the collective fear of seeing one more yellow DELAYED graphic. leaks are messy. spoiler fatigue is real. but the market seems much more scared of the calendar than cyberleek at this point.
