career mode is not a menu for ultimate team

Every year I hear that career mode got improvements and every year half of them are another screen I have to click through. I do not need a cinematic where my manager walks into an office wearing the wrong club colors. I need youth players to stop spawning with nonsense positions and tiny arms. I need transfers that make sense. A club fighting relegation should not reject a fair offer for its unhappy backup, then sell him somewhere else for less a week later. Let player form matter without turning one bad match into a month-long collapse. Let older players decline differently instead of everybody falling off the same invisible cliff. Fix the career mode menus too. I should not need four tabs to see who is tired before a midweek match. Ultimate Team gets new promos, pack animations, objectives and special cards constantly. Career players get one paragraph saying scouting was adjusted and then discover the same bug in season three. I still make a save every year. Pick a lower league club, sign one fast winger I cannot afford, promise myself I will play realistically, then abuse free agents by January. That is why it annoys me. The mode is good enough to keep us loyal and neglected enough to make us complain forever.
