fable has more to prove at gamescom than anything xbox is showing
not because i think it looks bad. because fable has been living in trailer land for too long.
if xbox is putting it in the gamescom lineup, i want a normal chunk of gameplay. walk through town. talk to somebody. open a menu. get into one quest. show how the humor actually feels when it is not cut into a trailer.
this is the kind of game where tone matters more than another giant vista. if every npc is trying to be the funniest person in the room i am out. if it feels like a weird little british fantasy world where jokes happen naturally, perfect.
xbox has enough games now. fable needs to prove it has a personality.
show one full quest from start to finish. trailers have done their job already.
my fear is every villager talking like they know they are in a comedy trailer
fable only needs one chicken joke per hour. this is my technical requirement.
