the newest combat deep dive from the rockstar north preview says auto aim is off by default. you can tune aim stickiness, but the game starts closer to free aim, enemies are not just red dots on the minimap, and guns reportedly kick harder.
also, jason and lucia cannot carry a small nation's arsenal in their spine anymore. handguns can be concealed, long guns have to be carried or stored, and walking around with one ready can make civilians and cops react.
