most roblox games feel like chores wearing costumes
Every time someone tells me Roblox has infinite games, I open it and find the same loop wearing a different hat.
Stand on tycoon button. Wait for money. Buy wall. Wait faster. Buy second floor. Rebirth so the walls disappear and the number gets bigger.
Or it is a simulator where I click a thing, fill a backpack, sell the backpack, buy a bigger backpack and walk past ten signs asking for currency.
The avatar items are louder than the actual game. Half the screen wants me to claim a daily reward or join a group or invite a friend for a boost.
There are creative experiences. I have played some brilliant obbies and weird private server stuff that could only exist there.
But finding them feels like digging through a toy box where every cheap toy screams at you. Discovery is the boss fight.
People defend Roblox by saying it is a platform. Fine. Platforms can still be full of chores.
Maybe I am too old for the loop. Or maybe pressing the glowing cash button for an hour is just not a personality.
discovery is bad but the weird good games are worth digging for
half the time the group makes a bad game fun anyway
