activision making halo is somehow only the third wildest sentence in xbox's memo

xbox's reset memo is absurd to read all at once. 268 roles are being cut across halo studios, other first-party studios and xbox game studios management. activision is getting a purpose-built team for the next halo, separate from call of duty, while a small halo studios team keeps supporting the current games. playground and turn 10 are being merged. obsidian is moving under bethesda. rare and world's edge are moving under activision. and after two deals to sell ninja theory fell through, xbox says it is starting consultation on a proposed closure while still looking at other options. this is not leak math or insider telephone. microsoft published the memo itself. somehow "activision makes halo now" is only one line in it.

most roblox games feel like chores wearing costumes

Every time someone tells me Roblox has infinite games, I open it and find the same loop wearing a different hat. Stand on tycoon button. Wait for money. Buy wall. Wait faster. Buy second floor. Rebirth so the walls disappear and the number gets bigger. Or it is a simulator where I click a thing, fill a backpack, sell the backpack, buy a bigger backpack and walk past ten signs asking for currency. The avatar items are louder than the actual game. Half the screen wants me to claim a daily reward or join a group or invite a friend for a boost. There are creative experiences. I have played some brilliant obbies and weird private server stuff that could only exist there. But finding them feels like digging through a toy box where every cheap toy screams at you. Discovery is the boss fight. People defend Roblox by saying it is a platform. Fine. Platforms can still be full of chores. Maybe I am too old for the loop. Or maybe pressing the glowing cash button for an hour is just not a personality.
