trover just disappeared from every digital store and squanch still hasnt said why

trover saves the universe is currently gone from steam, epic, meta, xbox, playstation and nintendo stores. steamdb shows the app was retired at publisher request, but squanch games has not publicly explained the removal or warned players ahead of it. reports say people who already bought it can still play and redownload it. new purchases are gone from the major digital storefronts, and the old limited physical ps4 release suddenly looks a lot less silly. maybe this is temporary. maybe it is not. nobody outside squanch actually knows yet, which is exactly why every licensing theory being posted as fact should stay in the theory bucket.
