the story is the tutorial for online
gonna save everyone time: i do not care if Jason has trust issues. can he carry armor snacks without opening 4 menus. that matters to me.
I played GTA V story once. Got enough missions done to understand shooting and driving, then moved Online and never went back. My actual GTA memories are stealing an armored Kuruma with friends, missing the heist payout because somebody died parachuting, and fighting one dude across three lobbies.
Give Online good crew tools on day one. Invite only sessions that still let businesses work. Races with an editor that doesn't fight you. Heists where one disconnect does not erase twenty minutes.
And please keep the economy dirty but possible. I will grind for a cool car. I will not deliver the same van across the whole map 19 times because the payout was designed by a prison warden.
RP people can have private servers but stop acting like pretending to inspect a license plate is the highest form of GTA. Some of us want rockets and bad decisions.
Single player fans always say Online ruined Rockstar, meanwhile Online is why their giant expensive cowboy animation simulator was possible. yeah I said it.
My nightmare is a perfect 40 hour story and barebones multiplayer that gets useful two years later. By then the crew chat is dead and everybody moved on.
Launch with crews, jobs, PvP modes, private sessions and something worth earning. Lucia can call me when the cutscene ends.
