minecraft survival has no mystery left

Old Minecraft felt scary because we knew almost nothing. A cave noise was information. Finding diamonds felt impossible. Building a Nether portal from memory made you the smartest person in the room. Now I start a world and my brain already has a checklist. Dirt house for one night. Iron. Village. Diamonds. Portal. Enchanting. Bosses if I can be bothered. I know which blocks are useful before I see them. I know what the dark cave probably contains. If I forget a recipe, there is a book in the menu and a guide on my phone. The game has more stuff than ever and somehow I feel less lost. Part of this is my fault. You cannot unknow a game. Even avoiding videos does not erase years of seeing farms, seeds and perfect starter routes. Updates add new places, but the community solves them immediately. Within days every surprise becomes a tutorial thumbnail with red arrows. I miss building a terrible dirt house because we genuinely thought the night was dangerous. I miss losing diamonds and not knowing the efficient way to replace them. Minecraft is still great. I just want to be confused by it again, and that might be impossible.
