a giant rockstar archive hit public today and the headline version is already mutating. current reporting says the roughly 192gb dump is mostly the long-rumored full archive tied to the 2022 breach and the gta v source-code material that surfaced in 2023, not somebody stealing a fresh september gta 6 build. people digging through it have found what appear to be very early gta 6 map/blockout assets, plus a mountain of cut gta v stuff including the old liberty city expansion. the gta 6 pieces are low-detail and may just be lod assets. that does not confirm liberty city as gta 6 dlc. it definitely does not mean a 192gb playable gta 6 build just dropped. actual leak, genuinely interesting archive, catastrophic headline discipline.

honestly the cut gta v stuff hurts more. we spent a decade asking where the single-player dlc went and apparently liberty city was sitting in the walls.
