bungie is actually bringing the destiny 2 content vault back out of storage

this is one of those things i did not expect a live service to admit. Bungie says it is starting work on bringing vaulted Destiny 2 campaigns, destinations and raids back, available to all Destiny 2 players. it also flat out says removing them hurt player trust and enjoyment. there is no date and no list of which pieces return first. Bungie says it has to rebuild lighting, encounters, enemies and other systems because the game changed too much since Beyond Light. so no, Red War is not dropping next week. but after six years of "that content is gone," the company is now spending dev time to put history back in the game. for once the preservation complaint actually moved the product.
