open betas are unpaid qa and i am still downloading gears e-day

every publisher calls it a beta like we are getting some special privilege. brother i am finding your bugs for free. and yes i am downloading it anyway. obviously. for gears this actually makes sense because multiplayer is the kind of thing you cannot tune in a room full of devs. put thousands of idiots in there and within two hours somebody finds the weirdest route on the map and one loadout everyone hates. useful data. my only rule is do not sell me early beta access and then act shocked when the beta has problems. that is literally the point. if i crash twice i report it. if i crash six times i uninstall. scientific method.
