xbox series s should not set the technical ceiling for gta 6

GTA 6 is officially coming to Xbox Series X and Series S. I am not claiming the smaller console has already limited anything because nobody outside development can know that. I am saying Rockstar should be willing to make the Series S version meaningfully different if that is what the city needs. Reduce resolution, shadows, crowd distance or texture quality. Do not reduce the number of systems running in the world just to make every version look identical in a comparison video. A dense Vice City with traffic, interiors, pedestrians and persistent physics matters more than visual parity. The cheaper console deserves a solid version, not veto power over the simulation. People will call this elitist. I think pretending different hardware is identical is less honest.

as long as the gameplay systems match. different traffic density would make guides and online balance weird

every generation has a console blamed for every compromise. sometimes the boring answer is development time

online cannot have half the lobby seeing fewer cars. visual cuts yes, simulation cuts no
