rockstar cut grocery shopping because gta 6 was becoming the sims with guns

apparently rockstar actually prototyped supermarkets where jason and lucia could buy groceries, bring them home and restock the fridge. then somebody in the building remembered we are supposed to steal cars and they cut it for being too complicated. this is the exact realism line i want them fighting over. make the fridge open. put weird food in it. let jason get fat. absolutely do not make me remember we are out of milk before a bank robbery. detailed nonsense good. household management bad.

the gta 6 leak finally crossed into actual story spoiler territory

cars, fuel, trackers, npc reactions, whatever. i can watch that stuff and still feel like i have not played the game.\n\nthe strip club video ending on another actual cutscene is where i am getting off the leak train.\n\nwe are three months from launch. once this turns into dialogue, mission context and character stuff, somebody is eventually posting the ending in a thumbnail because his token needs engagement.\n\ni wanted to know whether cars have weight. i do not need to know why jason and lucia are fighting in act 4.

repairing a wrecked hypercar from the gas pump is where realism people lose me

fuel? fine. pull into station, press button, tank fills. whatever. but apparently the same station can repair the car too and i really hope that is just a dev build shortcut or a very arcade option. i do not need to manually replace a radiator hose. i also don't want to turn a completely destroyed $2m supercar into showroom condition because i parked next to pump 4. there is a middle ground somewhere between mechanic simulator and magic healing gasoline.

cyberleek says jason has a pitbull and this is where spoilers get personal

cyberleek is claiming jason has a pitbull mix named rico who follows him around leonida, rides in vehicles, tracks stuff and refuses to get out near alligators. there is no independent proof of this yet. it is a story claim from the leaker, not something rockstar confirmed. that said if this is fake it is specifically engineered to hurt me because i already care about this dog more than half the cast.

one guy shoots LEEK into a wall and journalism unlocks the full game

the LEEK video is probably the strongest proof so far that somebody can control a gta 6 build. cool. important difference though: A build. some headlines already upgraded that into FULL WORKING GTA 6 BUILD like we watched cyberleek load the final mission, switch to lucia, open debug tools and upload an iso. we did not. maybe he has the whole thing. maybe it's a qa slice. maybe somebody with access is recording stuff for him. nobody outside that mess actually knows yet. the internet has gone from five bullet holes to pc release confirmed at record speed.

cyberleek spelling LEEK with bullet holes changed this whole leak

the first clips could have just been stolen recordings. the newer one apparently shows somebody doing a custom dumb thing inside the game just to prove a point. that makes me believe somebody can play A build. it does not prove they have the full game sitting there ready for a torrent. could be an old build, a qa slice, an insider feeding them footage, whatever. still way more serious than somebody stealing trailer files.

liberty city in lucia's bio better actually matter

lucia and her mom having history in liberty city is such a specific little detail that my brain refuses to treat it like filler. i do not need a surprise flight north or a second map. honestly please don't. but if lucia never talks about that life, her mom, or why the good life means so much to her, then why put it in the bio? gta fans are going to turn two words into dlc theories anyway. rockstar can at least make the two words matter to the character.

lucia and jason should have separate money and separate wanted histories

Character switching only matters if the characters actually live different lives. Lucia and Jason should not share one magical wallet. If Lucia earns money, buys a car and attracts police attention, that should belong to Lucia. Jason should not wake up across the state with the same cash, weapons and clean record. Shared safehouse money can exist for major purchases. Personal money should handle clothes, vehicles, supplies and dumb impulse spending. The same applies to police attention. One character using a recognizable car in repeated crimes should make that car risky for that character. Switching protagonists should create breathing room, not erase every consequence in the world. Yes, this adds friction. That friction is what makes switching a meaningful decision instead of a teleport button with a different voice actor.

jason should be kinda boring

Everyone wants Jason to secretly be wild, undercover, a genius, related to somebody, or hiding a giant twist. I hope he is just some guy who is good at driving and makes bad choices because Lucia looked at him. GTA already has loud personalities. A quieter dude getting dragged deeper into increasingly bad plans gives the story somewhere to go. He can still be funny without announcing a huge gimmick in his first scene. Make his special skill something basic too: better focus behind the wheel, quicker item swaps, maybe he can keep a damaged car under control after a tire blows. No superhero vision. Normal people become interesting when the plan goes wrong. Jason does not need a wiki twist before we even like him.
