which is exactly how they get you. most crossovers make me roll my eyes because the whole game starts feeling like a costume rack. then you put warhammer 40k next to helldivers and suddenly the vibes match way too well. bulky armor, bad odds, loud machinery, everyone acting like the situation is completely normal. fine. i get it. that does not mean i want this to become the plan forever. one perfect crossover turns into five decent ones and then somehow we are doing a branded event with a movie that came out last friday. so yes i will probably use the 40k stuff. no this is not permission to turn super earth into the multiverse food court.

My younger cousins will ignore the beautiful game I suggest and spend two hours in a janky private server because all their friends are there. Honestly that makes sense. They care about avatar items, matching skins and who has the funny emote. Adults call it shallow while buying expensive keyboard lights and profile badges. Same disease, different allowance. A low detail game that runs on everybody's phone keeps the group together. The friend with the old device can still join instead of watching clips from outside. Gaming communities form around access first. The shadows can look terrible if the group chat is alive.
