gta 6 does not need a morality meter

Do not put a good-person bar on the screen. Do not convert every choice into points and then tell me which ending I earned. Jason and Lucia can make decisions with consequences without the game assigning a moral score. Characters should react to what happened, not to a hidden spreadsheet deciding whether I am 62 percent honorable. A morality system also encourages players to optimize a personality. Pick every nice option for the reward or every cruel option for the alternate ending. That is not roleplaying. It is filling a meter. Let choices be messy, local and sometimes impossible to summarize.

relationship consequences yes. universal morality score no. different characters should judge the same choice differently

a fixed story can still branch without grading the player like a school assignment

my morality is whether the plan was funny. the meter cannot measure this
