rockstar almost made gta 6 have four protagonists and thank god somebody said no

after gta v the obvious sequel brain idea was apparently 'three characters worked, so what about FOUR.' rockstar says they actually discussed it, then backed off because every extra lead cuts into the time you spend getting attached to each one. correct decision. gta v was already one trevor interruption away from feeling like channel surfing. give me two people with actual chemistry instead of assembling the avengers of florida crime.

gta 6 disables your gun in the strip club because even jason has house rules

the new strip club leak has the pistol greyed out in the weapon wheel.\n\nso apparently jason can rob a gas station, steal a tracked hypercar and get chased across vice city, but once he walks into the club management is like sir we have standards.\n\nhonestly good. gta v did this too and it keeps the place from becoming another room you clear once and forget. if the final game has more interiors with their own rules instead of every building being a shooting gallery, i am into it.\n\nalso love that the most respected authority in leonida might be strip club security.

the cashier reacting to the gun is more interesting than the gas mechanic

everybody is arguing about fuel and i'm watching the people inside the store. gun comes out and they react immediately. people drop, freeze, panic differently. it looks way less like gta v where every npc gets the same "scream and sprint directly into traffic" command. THAT is the stuff that makes an open world feel newer to me. i don't care if the tank lasts 20 minutes or 200. give me robberies where the room actually feels like people understand something bad is happening.

what if cyberleek doesn't actually have the gta 6 files

the funniest possibility is that everyone is arguing about cyberleek having THE BUILD when he might just have a guy on the inside doing requests. the LEEK wall proves whoever recorded that clip was controlling the game. it does not automatically prove cyberleek has the files on his own machine. if somebody with a devkit or qa access is recording custom footage for him, that explains the proof clips without explaining why no actual build has appeared anywhere. pure theory obviously. but right now "guy has access to guy with access" makes as much sense as half the telegram lore.

i refuse to believe boobie ike is just a mission giver

boobie has real estate, a strip club, a recording studio and a whole thing going with only raw records. that is a lot of setup for a guy who hands me a mission marker twice. i want him to actually have weight in vice city. favors, doors he can open, people who act different when his name comes up. make me understand why this dude became a local legend. doesn't mean he needs 20 missions. i just don't want the empire to exist only in character-page text.

gta 6 should have one canonical ending and no player choice

Multiple endings usually mean the final chapter pauses so the player can choose from a menu of expensive cutscenes. I would rather Rockstar write one ending with consequences and commit to it. Jason and Lucia already have a defined relationship and a specific criminal conspiracy around them. If the whole story is built around trust, the ending should follow what those characters would actually do after everything that happened, not what gives me the nicest free-roam save. Choice is valuable when the entire game reacts to it. A final decision added near the credits often feels like selecting a bonus scene. Give me one ending people argue about for ten years. I do not need three versions designed to make every player feel correct.

fast travel should unlock only after the gta 6 credits

The first playthrough should make us learn Leonida by moving through it. Roads, bridges, neighborhoods and distances become memorable because we use them repeatedly. Fast travel is useful, but it changes the map into a menu. Once it is available, every inconvenient trip becomes a loading decision instead of part of the experience. For a replay or postgame, fine. During the story, keep us on the road. Rockstar spends years building radio, traffic, weather and roadside events. Skipping all of that on day two would be an impressive way to miss the game we bought.

scripted missions are not the problem

People act like every GTA mission should be a sandbox experiment. Nah. The scripted chase, the dialogue timed to the drive, the car crashing through a barrier at the exact moment you arrive, that stuff is why Rockstar missions stick in your head. Total freedom usually means the story has to react to fifty dumb possibilities and none of them get a strong payoff. I am fine following the GPS line for a story mission if the set piece is good. Free roam is where I want chaos. Missions can actually have direction.
